This is my 5th mattress in less than two years. Two mattresses ago, I bought one online that had great reviews. It did not work for me. I sent it back 60-days later. Then I decided that I needed to go to a store where I could test mattresses in person. I narrowed it down to two. I decided to go with the Tempurpedic. I slept on it for almost three months and it just never seemed to be supportive or comfortable. So I went back to the store four more times and once again narrowed down mattresses until I got to two finalists. Another Tempurpedic and the Sterns Reserve Pillow Top Firm. I stayed in the store for almost two hours and went back and forth between the two. Duing the last visit, it became clear that the mattress that checked off all of the boxes was the Stearns. I was delivered six days ago. It has even been broken in and I can tell that this was the mattress for me all along. It is firm, but not hard. It is actually soft feeling but exceptionally supportive. I find that this mattress allows me to sleep comfortably in any position…back, side or stomach. This is great as almost no other mattress gives me this option. I wake up feel relaxed from a great night sleep, which is not as easy being 71. When I was younger, I could sleep on a bed of nails and do well. As you get older, getting comfortable in bed becomes more challenging. This mattress is by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept in.
